Senzime AB is a high-tech company based in Uppsala, Sweden.
The company develops and markets a unique and proprietary
enzyme based biosensor technology with a wide applicability
throughout different medical and bio/chemical processes and
industries.
Senzime focuses the following application areas:

Medical diagnostic instruments (Point-of-care and other
diagnostics)

Pharmaceutical industry (bio reactor control, drug development
etc.)

Chemical processing, (biofuel etc.)

Food & Beverage processing (e.g. urea measurement
in milk and dairy processes)
Started in 1999 as a development company, Senzime is currently
focused on ramping up production and delivery capabilities.
Our team:
Staffan Boström, CEO since 2002, Licentiate degree
of Science in Chemical Engineering, 1989-2001 Co-founder and
Managing Director of NEK Kabel AB.
Thomas Carlsson, Technical Director since 1999 (Inventor
and co-founder). MSc in Biotechnology. Various positions within
the biotechnological field since 1990.
Martin Boström, Development manager since 2002.
MScEE. 1989-2002 leading positions, e.g. Nokia Mobile Phones,
Technical Manager, Mici Elektronik, Development Manager.
Rianne Waninge, PhD in Food technology science/ biophysical
chemistry from Lund University in 2004. Starting at Senzime
in January 2008, Rianne has responsibility for the further
development and verification of Senzime’s proprietary
sensor technology.
Board of Directors:
Adam Dahlberg, Chairman, (born 1973, MSc Business Administration)
Adam is working with investments, made by himself and
together with other members of the Crafoord family (Holger
Crafoord founded Swedish success med tech company Gambro).
He deploys an active investment strategy within early phases
of several areas of advanced technology, including companies
such as QlikTechnologies Inc. (the worlds fastest growing
Business Intelligence software company, employing appr. 400
people), PiezoMotor AB (revolutionary micro motor company,
employing appr 35 people), Corline Systems AB (a cell therapy
company delivering a unique enabling technology for diabetes
therapy).
Lars Wiklund, Professor and Senior Physician in anesthesia
and intensive care at Uppsala University and Uppsala University
Hospital. Head of the Department of Surgical Science. Since
the 1970s, active in circulation and metabolic research, as
well as ischemic brain and heart damage caused by cardiac
arrest. Lars Wiklund has also studied the turnover of blood-borne
metabolites, i.e. glucose, in connection with surgery and
intensive care.

Henrik Nittmar (born 1966, MSc Industrial Engineering,
PhD Business Administration)
Henrik works as an investment manager for a select number
of clients and sits on the board of several companies within
the high tech industry areas. Having done research within
Innovation Management at Stockholm School of Economics and
a professional background within management and brand consultancy,
Henrik has a focus on developing Senzime from a financing
and marketing/sales related perspective.
Dag Thulin (born 1944)
Dag has an industrial background with profound knowledge
of marketing and sales in an industrial setting as well as
developing his own successful company within the special cable
industry where he also served as CEO. After divesting his
company in 2002, Dag is focusing his professional time on
the board of Senzime.
