Senzime provides a unique on-line glucose monitoring instrument, the SE-100G, through which precise and continuous measurements can be made in for example a fermentation broth.

Glucose and lactate measurement is part of the standard clinical diagnostic routines in many places in a modern hospital. It is being performed in coronary care, the emergency room, operating room, in different lab areas, and as part of endocrinology/diabetes, pediatrics/neonatal care, cardiac rehabilitation as well as in clinical research.

Senzime has developed a prototype instrument where the principle of continuous lactate/glucose measurement of blood has been proven.

Fermentations and cell cultures require tight control of system variables to achieve consistent, desirable results. The ability to monitor and regulate nutrients and by-products in these bioreactors plays a vital role in the health and productivity of the processes.
